Integrated Quality Assurance System: At Every Stage of Production

Shinhwa Auto USA’s quality management is deeply embedded in every stage of our vertically integrated smart factory.

 

  1. Quality from Co-Engineering: We predict and eliminate potential defects through CAD/CAE simulations before part design and mold fabrication. This is the first step in internalizing quality from the start of production, based on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
  2. Real-time In-Process Monitoring: Our MES (Manufacturing Execution System) is connected to all production facilities, collecting and analyzing data in real-time. All key parameters, such as melting temperature, casting pressure, and machining tolerances, are continuously monitored and controlled. This ‘digital thread’ ensures 100% traceability of each part’s production history, enabling immediate root-cause analysis if an issue arises.
  3. Advanced Metrology & Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): We do not rely on visual inspection. Our quality validation lab is equipped with industry-leading instruments.
    • X-Ray ADR (Automated Defect Recognition): 100% non-destructive automatic detection of internal defects in all critical components.
    • CT Scanners: Precisely analyze the internal 3D structure of components to find even microscopic pores or cracks.
    • CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines): Verifies that all dimensions match drawing specifications with sub-micron level precision.
    • PT (Penetrant Testing) Line: Effectively detects surface cracks, ensuring no invisible defects are overlooked.
  4. Culture of Continuous Improvement: Beyond merely identifying defects, we emphasize continuous improvement activities (Kaizen) to resolve issues and prevent recurrence. All employees share a quality-conscious mindset, and we optimize processes and strengthen standards through data-driven analysis.
